Accessibility and assistance
If you are unable to wear your wristband throughout DDW because of work, a hospital stay or another important reason, you can request a personal pass at the service desk in Klokgebouw or at Eindhoven Central Station. This pass will replace your wristband for the remainder of DDW.
Please note: You can only request a pass while your wristband is still secured around your wrist. First exchange your e-ticket for a wristband and then submit your request. Always have your wristband removed by a member of the service team. If you cut it off yourself, it will no longer be valid and a personal pass cannot be issued.
Requests for a personal pass are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate every request; the decision of the service team is final.
Visitors who use a wheelchair pay the regular ticket price, as DDW locations are accessible. We do, however, provide one free DDW wristband for a companion. This can be collected at the door at one of the physical ticket locations.
Please note: The ticket desk at Eindhoven Central Station is not easily accessible for wheelchair users or visitors with reduced mobility. Our team will be happy to assist you and will be available on the ground floor. Please approach a member of staff if you need assistance.
Dutch Design Foundation (DDF) works with Cultuur Inclusief to make DDW accessible to more people. Each year, 500 tickets are available through Cultuur Inclusief for €2.40 for people who are unable to pay the regular ticket price. Would you like to purchase one of these tickets? You can apply from 1 September via the Cultuur Inclusief website.
Please note: Cultuur Inclusief manages a limited number of discount vouchers. Their website explains exactly who is eligible and how to apply. Dutch Design Foundation provides the discount but has no influence over the selection process or allocation of tickets.
You can find all terms and conditions regarding tickets and entry here.
