There is a gap between the opportunities offered by emerging technologies and their value to people and society. This gap is bridged by design research at the four Dutch universities of technology. 4TU.Design United presents 5 consecutive days of design research dialogues exploring, defining and critiquing the bidirectional bridges and intersections among technology, people, society, and the planet.

Design can support people and societies in creating and sustaining wellbeing. How can design harmonize individuals, communities and larger systems for healthier and more fulfilling lives? Join us in exploring the boundaries where design meets health—at the edges of care, community, and daily life.
