Illusion of Home

The objects inhabiting the scenery of Illusion of Home have haptic qualities at their core: they are all in part textile. A carpet, a series of interactive lamps and a room divider with a modular curtain – in a tension between loneliness and close touch, between narration and object.

The objects in the scenery of Illusion of Home are pointing to ideas of home and nomadism. Its centerpiece is a curtain, dividing the room between public and private – concealing and revealing at the same time, the gaze is pulled towards it. The curtain i
