Today’s world is focused more and more on inclusivity. Then why is the fashion industry falling behind? When dealing with a visual impairment, shopping can become hard work instead of a fun pastime. Isn’t it time for a change?
About SeeFeel
In 2019 I (Rachel Lourens) graduated as a textile engineer, feeling inspired to design garments with meaning and to help a specific target group. SeeFeel was born out of the research I did for my graduation thesis. I did research into how certain added details can help people with a visual impairment shop. During my education I realized how polluting the fashion industry is, and this made me realize you should only make products if they contribute to society.
