The premiere of the documentary HOLY SHIT follows the process from shit too sandwich. It visits leading biologists, ecologists and politicians to investigate how we can close the food cycle with our own poop and pee and what is still holding us back.

Why this shit?

The import of nutrients that enable food production are running out at a rapid pace. Fertile soil is lost, resulting in a major loss of biodiversity. Paradoxically, the much-needed nutrients that we produce ourselves are flushed away. In short, something is not quite right. A whole lot of shit is what we need to solve this shit. Everyone hears about solar panels, electric cars and meat substitutes but the solutions hidden in our own poop remain undisclosed. In this documentary, we're going to give life to a topic that we've been flushing away for too long. It is time for the general public to start a conversation about the 'true cost' of our toilet visits.
