At Hug, we believe that we can make a change in the wasteful culture of Fast Fashion by being aware of what we buy and cherish what we already have. That’s why we see worn clothes not as waste, but as reusable material for unique bags with their own story.
About Jolien Roesthuis
I am Jolien Roesthuis, sustainable entrepreneur and bag designer.
Due to my background in the textile industry I continuously saw all kinds of abuse, such as mass production and lots of waste. The fact that we no longer value clothing, we easily throw it away when we don’t like it anymore, stimulates me to do something about it.
The brand Hug is the result of this mission and stands for personality, circular design and simplicity.
*Hug is the little sister of Old2Gold
