This year we will showcase three brand new projects at Messmerizing. All projects emphasize the perception of form through light and color.

Bold & Schaft

Working with Dom Hans van der Laan’s theory, the “Plastic Ratio”, we have designed a new collection. The main premise of the collection is not about “beauty” but about the clarity of perception”. Depending on how the daylight hits the sculptures and the position of the spectator, the perception of form can alter. While working, our curiosity about the fabric and its possibilities became even more evident. Therefore we have been researching the perception of form through natural and artificial light.
