Rattan, ceramic and silicone
Pietro Nilo Photograph
Combination of rattan, ceramic, glass and silicone connected into an organic chandelier, floating roots reminding us how we can all repot at some point in our life.
About Mida-lab
In 2021 Michela D'Angelo started the MiDA-lab project, opening and setting up her atelier in Sectie-c (Eindhoven).
MiDA-lab research focuses on combining different materials such as ceramics, glass, rattan and silicone to communicate more complex feelings. Experimenting contradictions, bouncing from a limit to the next, stretching thoughts until contrasting elements become the same: misunderstandings are welcome, to be understood later on.
