space design, represents and defines US
space design, represents and defines US

Since 2017, our exhibition has been an ongoing project with the same goal: to inspire and involve people in who we are. We collected ideas from DDW visitors in the form of texts, poems and drawings. Displayed every year in a book, as a reflection of the spirt of age during each exhibition.

Our main goal: the history of thoughts of all kinds of people over certain periods of time. of time.

This year our spatial design is a pattern derived from a circle and a square. The geometric two-dimensional shapes represent characteristic ends of a spectrum such as: rich & poor, young & old, male & female, etc. The different color gradations represent a spectrum of emotions and characters. Each crossover, combination of colors and unique location in space represents and defines a unique person. Together they symbolize 'US'. During the DDW we hope to discuss with our visitors about what it means to be 'US'. Afterwards we collect the statements in a book in order to leave a unique trace of history and a spirit of our age. Our main goal with the creation of the books is to represent the history of thoughts of all types of people over the years. We want to show an interesting definition of spirit and mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time. These books shows how we look, how we think and what is important to us. Each book is a statement of unprecedented value because it is made without pretension. It is a result of an exhibition that is made by us and complete by all of us – a diverse group of people willing to leave a trace.
