Join us for an intimate evening of reflection and connection through the book Mothers of Matter. The upcoming book by designer and researcher Shonali Shetty, published by Jap Sam Books is an exploration of the maternal body in relation to space.
We will start with a guided journey by artist Annika Kappner, Moonblood, that explores the cycles of nature through our own bodies and the life-giving power underlying all cyclicality. Through gentle dialogue, and small reflective reading exercises, participants will be invited to attune to their own bodily experiences. This autumnal circle offers a space for a dwelling in the maternal histories that shape our sense of space.
Spots are limited. Please email mothersofmatter@gmail.com.
Walk-ins will not be possible.
