As urban designer, Sofiia Bondar worked on the installation for the occupied and displaced community of Hirska. When you ask refugees what is needed to return, they all say: a house, a job, safety. Asking them what they miss, they say: people, nature, culture. Silk screen maps on Carpathian hemp.

Sofiia Bondar is social urban designer, landscape architect, urbanist. She worked with Micha Tokar on the ‘Anti-tank hedgehog upcycling’, and with Ro3kvit on the project of the occupied territory of Hirska. Specialist on the meaning of culture in war and post-war times.
