Bone Char with Tar
Bone Char with Tar
Fenna Kosfeld
Evolving Remains is a collection of artefacts shaped by porcelain and carbonised bones. The collection consists of a selection of objects.

Primal Craft

This project explores new ways of bridging human craft, ancient techniques and primal materials inherent in our being. Framed through fire as an element of transformation and carbon as a remainder of what was and what may be. By merging traces of living matter with the human urge to create, Evolving Remains aims to overcome an emotional gap between what we are made of and what we make. It invites reflection on material cycles and ecological transformation.

The collection is the result of a collaboration between Leonie Goejer and Fenna Kosfeld.
