Circular Taiwan
Taiwan has long been recognised for its manufacturing capabilities, yet a new generation of designers and businesses is redefining how these capabilities can contribute to a circular future. SR Collective brings together Taiwanese brands and design projects working with recycled plastics, marine waste, discarded textiles, agricultural by-products and other recovered resources. Through everyday objects and material applications, the exhibition shows how circular thinking can move beyond waste reduction to create new cultural, functional and commercial value.
RE:TWIST | Circular Spin Project
A highlight of the exhibition is the new 2026 series of RE:TWIST Circular Spin Project. We reimagines the familiar capsule-toy experience through circular materials, design and international collaboration. The project transforms recovered materials into collectible objects while inviting designers from different cultural backgrounds to reinterpret symbols of luck, identity and everyday life. Following previous editions, the new series expands the project with an entirely new collection, demonstrating how a small object can become a platform for material experimentation, storytelling and cross-border collaboration.
Design Together
Presented by TIDA × re-ing, SR Collective creates a bridge between Taiwan and Europe. TIDA, the Taiwan Industrial Designers Association, represents Taiwan’s professional industrial design community. re-ing is the sustainable design brand of Dot Design and its Rotterdam-based branch, connecting Taiwanese design and manufacturing with the European circular design ecosystem. Together, the two organisations bring designers, manufacturers, brands and material innovators into an international platform for dialogue, collaboration and future business opportunities.
