The Grand Café of Piet Hein Eek is located on the ground floor opposite the main entrance of the Piet Hein Eek complex and serves as an accessible, informal place for lunch, coffee, or a drink. The space is open and bright, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects the broader character of the complex. Guests can sit both indoors and outdoors, making the restaurant a place to relax, meet people, or simply enjoy the surroundings. The Grand Café connects naturally to the rest of the complex, forming an extension of Hotel Piet Hein Eek and the other spaces where design, art, and craftsmanship come together.
During Dutch Design Week, Amaro’s Cuisine will take over the Grand Café with a special DDW menu. Enjoy a unique lunch and dinner menu featuring a variety of new dishes.

Enjoy the Dutch Design Dinner at Grand Café Piet Hein Eek. Drinks are charged separately. The Piet Hein Eek studio closes at 19:30, so make sure to arrive early if you’d like to explore the studio before dinner. You are welcome to stay and dine after the studio closes.
