Ramses3000 AV Live
The artistic career of multidisciplinary artist Yannick Verhoeven, better known as Ramses3000, is all about innovation and cultural convergence. As Ramses3000, the artist creates music to counterbalance the chaos of everyday life and allow the listener to relax.
After the interdisciplinary tour around his album Thalamus along museums and festivals, Ramses3000 was looking for a way to further expand his shows with a new visual element. Together with Studio Wotto, he has been working on a new instrument within the Effenaar Lab Hybrid Music Vibes project. It combines analogue and digital visual techniques and fits seamlessly with the producer's current live set. In doing so, it uses the ink techniques from the psychedelic liquid light shows of the 70s, translated into a contemporary form by combining generative audio applications and a matching light show. During the performance, they show how the device works and what possibilities it offers.
Hybrid Music Vibes
The Hybrid Music Vibes project offers artists the opportunity to discover how new technologies can contribute to their artistry. The project is an initiative of Effenaar Lab in collaboration with Rockacademie Tilburg, Thunderboom Records, Bureau Moeilijke Dingen, Studio Wotto and is supported by Cultuurloket DigitALL.
