Take a moment to pause
A traffic sign normally has a clear function: it guides behavior and contributes to safety. Removing a traffic sign from its functional context changes its meaning. A clear instruction suddenly becomes an open-ended question. This work invites visitors to pause, both literally and figuratively. This can be personal: What should I personally reflect on? But it can also be societal: What should we, as a society, stop doing? At the same time, the work raises questions about public space, regulations, and the role of design in guiding our behavior.
