Supernaturalis sheds light on the fascinating and often irrational side of our thinking that shapes us all. Through rituals, lucky charms, amulets from different cultures, as well as unusual archival finds and anecdotes, this human irrationality is expressed both in content and design.

Do you believe in magic?

Who hasn't experienced carrying a lucky charm with them before an important exam or forgetting their umbrella just when they need it most? Such everyday examples reveal how deeply superstition is rooted in our daily actions. But why is this magical thinking still present in our modern, educated world? Why do we sometimes act irrationally, even though we know full well that there are no scientific explanations for our behaviour? Do we perhaps even need this superstition? The seemingly irrational beliefs we hold play an important role in our lives and help us find meaning. They are a natural part of our humanity and connect us. But why do we know so little about a phenomenon that influences our thinking, actions and even our health?

From graphic design to illustration, I find spaces where ideas can blossom I am interested in the balance between concept and feeling, clarity and intuition. Humanity is a central element in this, as it provides a sense of orientation and connection in a complex world.
