Marjo van Schaik is designer and curator, partly living in Ukraine. She puts the hard reality into soft materials. Using traditions and innovation she tells human stories. All materials used are natural or re-used, Dutch wool regarded as waste, Carpathian hemp, plant-based dyes.

Marjo van Schaik works with wool and other natural materials such as hemp and vegetable dyes to create new concepts. Marjo lives both in Kyiv and Amsterdam, and exhibited (a.o.) in Textiel Museum Tilburg, Design Msueum Ghent, Mediamatic Amsterdam and DDW Eindhoven.
