Produced as a more introspective outlook on the industry, the film invites collectors, designers and writers of footwear to tell personal stories about a beloved sneaker to discuss it’s surrounding worship as cultural and status markers, artefacts of craft and sneaker culture at large.

Produced for Het Schoenenkwartier as apart of their Sneaker Evolution exhibition and beginning as a more introspective outlook on the industry, the film invites collectors, designers and writers of footwear to tell personal stories about a beloved sneaker to discuss it’s surrounding worship as cultural and status markers, artefacts of craft and sneaker culture at large.

The film includes personal stories from Nathan Alexander Walker (designer: Arete create), Jesse Oeinck (collector: Vilis Vintage), Julia Lebosse (writer), Reijnald Kolthof (designer: Camper Lab) and Florence Weber (upcylcer: Studio Encore)
