CYBERAWARE Installation Overview
CYBERAWARE Installation Overview
Take the operator's seat of a fictional AI security system: CCTV feeds, physical controls, live cyber incidents. While you judge others, the system judges you and prints your personal surveillance profile as you leave.

The System

CYBERAWARE puts you behind the console of a fictional security operations centre. Live CCTV feeds line the wall, physical switches and dials sit under your hands, and cybersecurity incidents unfold in real time: a bad usb attack, a wifi attack, an alert of a social engineering attack. Every decision is yours, and the interface makes it effortless to keep watching.

The Reversal

What the interface never mentions is that the observation runs both ways. From the moment you sit down, CYBERAWARE records how you behave: what you look at, how long you hesitate, whom you flag, what you let pass. When you step away, a receipt printer produces your personal surveillance profile assembled from data you never knowingly gave, in a tone that leaves no room for appeal.

The Question

That receipt is the point. The same logic runs through systems we already live with: facial recognition in public space, risk scoring at banks and borders, automated moderation and fraud detection. Consent is buried in a checkbox, the reasoning stays hidden, and the verdict arrives as fact. CYBERAWARE hands visitors the operator's power for a few minutes so they can feel both sides of it and asks what we agree to when security is the argument.
