KÖNIGSWINTER LIGHT SCULPTURE transforms a rare, weathered fibreglass panel into an atmospheric lighting object. The material’s irregular translucency and golden hue create depth that shifts with the light, bringing both illumination and a quiet sense of presence.

Formed by Nature

KÖNIGSWINTER is meditative light art – both an anchor and a window; a timeworn symbol of the connection between an enclosed interior and the vastness beyond.

Crafted from a historic amber-golden corrugated light panel, its naturally formed patina is the result of 50 years of exposure to the elements. Its shifting glow evokes the warmth of the sun. Available in MONO and DUO versions, KÖNIGSWINTER offers either a single dimmable light source or two elements that can be adjusted independently.

KÖNIGSWINTER is the result of an extensive search for material. Designer Daniel Heilig spent five years in pursuit of amber-coloured fibreglass sheets marked by time and the elements. Originally functional industrial remnants, these surfaces now serve as canvases for light, their irregular patina and soft translucency creating a dynamic interplay between past and present.
