Coherent frameworks
The LAR series emerged from the OUS’s interest for utilitarian constructive elements and its ongoing exploration into the interplay of systems and versatility. Specifically, how a framework of cohesive elements can be used to configure versatile furniture sets.
Taking inspiration from industrial shelving racks, a hybrid modular system of standardized steel profiles and wooden elements forms the basis for the series. Diverse standalone pieces or complete collections with different proportions and functions, adaptable and scalable throughout their use, can be individually configured – varied, while coherent.
