Within the contemporary interior objects clean lines meet organic patterns. The minimalist design and aesthetics of Japanese joinery, providing the perfect backdrop for opulent decoration. The Objects inhabit inlays of real plane tree bark.

Collected as it naturally peels from the tree, each bark fragment is carefully hand-sorted

Their irregular shapes of the bark inlays, organic textures and subtle hues create a tactile and playful contrast, grounding the objects in quiet, natural elegance. The stool surface is designed with engravings, Light plays a key role here, as its reflection on the surface transforms the perception of the patterns. The Plane Tree Collection embraces the visible use of fibreboard, which is already well established in the furniture industry and often goes unnoticed hidden behind bonded wood veneers. To protect our forests while maintaining production capability, we need to make greater use of fibreboards and rethink their aesthetic potential.
