A playful homage to rainy childhood days, where nature lets the imagination run free.

Rain Soup 雨傘湯

On a rainy day when I was little, I made up a silly song called ‘Rain Soup’. I was turning my umbrella upside down and watching the raindrops catch inside, suddenly feeling like a rain fairy making a big stew. This piece is inspired by this story and moments of childhood joy, playing pretend with the world around us, and finding whimsy in the most mundane things.

programme.hosted_by.about Ke-Tang Lee

Doodler, maker, notes-app poet, experimentor. But aren't we all some of these things? Born and raised in Taiwan, growing up in Canada, and obtaining a bachelors in illustration from the Haute école des arts du Rhin in France, fluidity, nostalgia, and playfulness are essential cores of their work.
