The Two Sisters is a collection of hand-built speakers that echo the haunting English folk song of the same name. A dark tale where jealousy turns to murder and a drowned sister’s body becomes a self-playing harp.

Description

The speakers form and sound carry the song’s grim metamorphosis, scarred by fire, they rise as resonant instruments born from tragedy. Each piece is crafted from materials reclaimed from local shipyard offcuts, and fitted with a pair of hand-restored Lowther DX3 drivers, renowned for their lifelike dynamics. The collection embodies a slow, analogue approach to sound as each speaker is wired by hand, unique in voice, and alive with the nuances that make music human.
