Process
OFFSITE's design process starts with a material: an offcut, a deadstock batch, a rejected production run. Working with industrial waste means looking at material differently. The back of a sheet or profile can hold as much shape and story as the front. Back and forth makes that process visible: test, find out, go back to the material, try again.
Designers
The presentation brings together pieces by Rik van Veen, Structural Aspect, Rik Frans Jansen, Nina van Bart & Willem van Doorn, Julius Esser and Joris Wintgens. Some pieces are new, developed for Dutch Design Week 2026. Others are existing OFFSITE work, shown again in this context. Suggestions go back and forth between designers too, and with the manufacturers who supply the material.
Cafe ocho
Next to the presentation, OFFSITE runs Café Ocho, a pop-up café furnished entirely with OFFSITE pieces. It is open to visitors during the day for the full run of Dutch Design Week.
