Material Transformation
After Matter explores how materials continue to hold value beyond their perceived end of life. Developed by Creative Experience Innovation Studio by ParagonCorp, the exhibition investigates two overlooked waste streams—agricultural by-products and cosmetic manufacturing sludge—as starting points for material innovation.
Rather than treating waste as something to discard, the projects challenge conventional material lifecycles by revealing new possibilities for transformation through research, experimentation, and design. By combining circular thinking with local resources, manufacturing knowledge, and contemporary material practices, After Matter presents alternative approaches to product and material development that reduce waste while creating new cultural, functional, and environmental value.
Together, the projects invite visitors to reconsider waste not as an endpoint, but as a resource capable of shaping new material narratives and more regenerative futures.
