Redesigning industrial window with responsive silicone membranes to bring dynamic natural airflow into indoor spaces.

Static vs dynamic

In a static work environment, our perception of thermal comfort is often goverened by standardized conditions that lack the diverse, subtle stimulations found oputdoors. While indoors, we rely on these standards to regulate temperature and airflow, the dynamic ambient stimulations present in nature, like rustling leaves, drifting clouds, and the fresh breath of air are absent.
The phenomenon of how we perceive thermal comfort is much more complex than we think. The redesigned generic industrial window, integrated this nuanced understanding of comfort into our indoor workspaces.
